Good Samaritan Child Development Center (CDC) offers a comprehensive child development/family support package of services to families. The CDC believes that a quality child development program focuses on whole-child development. This includes social, emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and creative development. Our commitment includes the understanding that a child exists within the social and cultural worlds of home and community. We recognize and build upon the experiences each child brings to the classroom. The CDC’s philosophy and goal is to provide a learning environment that supports the children’s home language and home culture, while encouraging the children to acquire English.
The Child Development Center seeks to balance gender, age, culture, and national origin when making admissions decisions. We are licensed for 36 children ages 2.6-5. We are open year-round from 8:00–5:30 Monday–Friday. We are one of the few bilingual English/Spanish programs in San Francisco.
